What STAT Means for District #1
Safety
I pledge to keep our streets safe, our businesses secure, and our residents comfortable walking, living, and moving throughout the area by demanding more visible law enforcement officers.
Traffic
I pledge to conduct a comprehensive traffic audit and bring in professionals to help us develop solutions that move residents and visitors more efficiently. I will also seek an independent analysis to determine whether the outsourcing of the Traffic Division is cost- effective.
Aviation Noise
I pledge to meet with the FAA and LAWA, review flight paths, and request an audit of Inglewood's Sound Insulation backlog to ensure residents are not waiting years for relief they have already been deemed eligible for.
Transparency
City Hall must work for the people it serves. For too long residents and taxpayers have been left in the dark regarding the City's business. It is time for the people to hear about billion-dollar deals before it hits the headlines. Afternoon 15- minute Council meetings must end and informative dialog begins with me.
